January 26, 2011, Location - Holzer is pleased to announce that Hematologist/Oncologist, Sushil Jain, M.D. has been named Medical Director of the Holzer Center for Cancer Care. In addition to managing patient care related to the treatment of cancer including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation therapy, and biological therapy, Dr. Jain will now serve as the clinical leader of the facility. In this role, he will be responsible for the implementation of policies, procedures and best practices ensuring continuance of the highest level of care for patients.

Dr. Jain gained his doctor of medicine degree from and completed his residency at S.M.S. Medical College, Jaipur, India. He completed his surgical internship at Flushing Hospital in Flushing, New York and an additional residency in Internal Medicine and Hematology/Oncology fellowship at Cabrini Medical Center in New York, NY. Dr. Jain is a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology as well as the Ohio/West Virginia Hematology/Oncology Society. He is Board Certified for Medical Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

The Holzer Center for Cancer Care offers a full range of cancer services including Radiation Therapy, External beam Therapy, Intensity modulated Radiation Therapy, Internal Radiation, as well as Chemotherapy.
