July 7, 2010, Gallipolis, OH - Holzer Clinic is proud to announce the addition of Board Certified General Surgeon, George Castillo, M.D. to our multi-specialty group practice of experienced professionals. Dr. Castillo will be practicing at the Holzer Clinic Athens and Holzer Clinic Jackson locations offering services including complex elective procedures, management of trauma, and other emergency situations. Dr. Castillo performs surgery by open, minimally invasive laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques.

Dr. Castillo received his medical education from the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California. He completed his internship at University of Virginia in Charlottesville, Virginia and his residency at Fairview General Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Castillo is certified by the American Board of Surgery.
