Edwards-Thomas, M.D, a Board Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, is now providing laborist coverage at Holzer Clinic and Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio. Dr. Edwards-Thomas, as a laborist, provides OB/ GYN coverage while managing the labor and delivery component of the birthing experience.

Holzer Clinic is committed to making your childbirth experience the best possible. Dr. Nona Edwards-Thomas is immediately available to examine patients, evaluate the progress of labor, react to abnormalities and provide safe intervention when necessary. Working alongside the Holzer Clinic OB/GYN physicians, and providing back-up for the Holzer Clinic Midwives; Dr. Edwards-Thomas rounds out a team approach designed to provide the highest quality care possible.

Dr. Thomas received her medical degree from the University of Illinois, College of Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. She completed her internship at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. While there, she finished her residency training. Dr. Thomas is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She will be providing coverage at Holzer Clinic and Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis.
