April 19, 2010, Gallipolis, OH - Holzer Clinic kicks off the 2nd Annual Holzer Heart 5k Run/Walk and 10k Run in downtown Gallipolis, Ohio Saturday, April 24. With over 250 participants last year and over 200 pre-registered this event promises to deliver a huge turnout, including cardiac surviving patients, students, and the public. This year, we have the privilege and honor to have hometown hero, Erin Nehus joining us and running in the event. Erin is a contender for the 2012 United States Olympic Team, where the summer games will be held in London. Erin was a standout track star at Gallia Academy High School and ran at the collegiate level. She won numerous state track titles for Ohio. She has worked as a Physical Therapist for the past 2 years and has been training full time as an Elite Runner. Holzer Heart Run will begin at 8:30am at Holzer Clinic Sycamore Branch located at 4th & Sycamore Street, Gallipolis, Ohio. Erin will be available prior to the race and immediately following the race for interviews. Interviews can be arranged prior to the event through Holzer Marketing or on race day at the registration table.
