December 29, 2009, Gallipolis - Holzer Clinic Board President, Dr. T. Wayne Munro is pleased to announce that Lois Bosley, DO and Christopher T. Meyer, DO have been elected to the Holzer Clinic Board of Directors.

In accordance with Holzer Clinic by-laws, physicians are elected to the governing board to serve staggered terms. In addition, Dr. T. Wayne Munro, Emergency Medicine Physician, was re-elected to a five-year term as the Board’s President effective January 1, 2010. Completing the nine member board are continuing members, Vice President Jon M. Sullivan, MD - Pediatric and Adolescent Medicine; Nicholas G. Economides, MD, PhD, FACS - Plastic Surgery; Glenn A. Fisher, MD Family Practice; I. Naci Bozkir, MD., Ophthalmology; Santpal S. Mavi, MD - Pulmonology and Phil B. Long, MD – Radiology and Nuclear Medicine

Dr. Lois Bosley has been with Holzer Clinic practicing Family Medicine for the past 16 years. She received her medical degree from West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, and completed her residency at the United Hospital Center in Clarksburg, West Virginia. Dr. Bosley is a Board Certified Family Practice Physician and is currently seeing patients at the Holzer Clinic of West Virginia in Point Pleasant. A native to the area, Dr. Bosley graduated from Wahama High School and currently resides in Point Pleasant with her husband Mark Groves and son Zach Bosley.

Dr. Christopher Meyer has been with Holzer Clinic practicing Gastroenterology for the past eight years. He received his medical degree from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa and conducted his residency at Flint Osteopathic Hospital in Flint, Michigan. Dr. Meyer completed a Fellowship in Gastroenterology at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, CT. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology and serves as Medical Director of Holzer Clinic Athens. Dr. Meyer is currently seeing patients at Holzer Clinic Athens and Holzer Clinic Jackson.
