June 22, 2009, Gallipolis - Nicholas Economides, M.D., F.A.C.S., Plastic Surgeon at Holzer Clinic, recently received his Masters in Medical Management degree from the University of Southern California. Endorsed by the American College of Physician Executives, the program at USC’s Business School of Marshall is a 14-month program requiring four weeks of mandatory on-site sessions. The program included courses in medical information, leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing, negotiating, accounting, statistics, communications, and corporate finance, among others.

In addition to his Masters in Medical Management, Dr. Economides has an M.D. degree as well as a PhD in academic surgery. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Surgery as well as the American Board of Plastic Surgery and serves on the Holzer Clinic Board of Directors.

Dr. Economides practices at Holzer Clinic’s Gallipolis, Athens and Jackson locations specializing in facial reconstruction/trauma, breast augmentation, post-mastectomy reconstructions, surgery to correct deformities, scar revision, lasers, liposuction, rejuvenation, body contouring and bariatric plastic surgery. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Surgeons and the American College of Physicians Executives.
