May 19, 2009, Athens, OH - Holzer Clinic is proud to announce that Board Certified
Orthopedic Surgeon Lawrence M. Rubens, M.D. has joined our team of skilled professionals. Dr. Rubens,
formerly with Faith Regional Hospital in Norfolk, Nebraska, is proficient in use of both surgical and
non-surgical methods of treatment for musculoskeletal trauma, sports injuries, degenerative diseases,
infections, tumors, and congenital conditions. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic
Surgery.
Dr. Rubens gained his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor,
Michigan, completed his Internship at the University of California in San Diego, California and conducted
his residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He completed fellowships at the
University of Nevada in Reno, Nevada and the University of Saarland in Homburg, Germany.
