February 1, 2008 - Meigs County, OH - At the Basketball game on Friday,
Holzer Clinic made a contribution of $125,000 to the Meigs Local Enrichment Foundation to
continue its commitment to the development of youth. This project will help to provide wellness
and recreational facilities for Meigs County residents as well as first-class athletic facilities
for students at Meigs Local, Southern Local and Eastern Local School Districts. The first project
will include an outdoor community wellness facility which will include fitness trails, ball
diamonds, playgrounds and state of the art cross country and track & field facilities for use of
the students at all schools.
The second project is a new stadium for Meigs Local School District which will be capable of
hosting OHSAA playoff games and large scale band competitions.
Representing Holzer Clinic is Dr. Kelly Roush, Chiropractic and Sports Injury Physician and
Joan Anderson, Manager of the Meigs Branch Rehabilitation Center. Accepting the donation are Mr.
Steve Ohlinger, Principal of Meigs High School, Mr. William Buckley, Superintendent of Meigs Local
Schools and Mike Bartrum and Frank Blake of The Meigs Local Enrichment Foundation.
